About Leanna

Advocate, Analyst, Consultant & Educator

“When you learn, teach.

When you get, give.

As for me, I shall not be moved.”

- Dr. Maya Angelou

I was taught that it is my responsibility to learn, but once I've acquired knowledge, never to forget and reach back into my community.  My community is that of my people. To finish this race successfully, we must be willing to support and encourage one another. If I can make a difference in others' lives, there is no telling the change and impact that will be made in this world.

Our time is now, more than ever, to tackle injustices head-on, which impacts people of color. As a Black woman, it is not only my job to succeed, but as a leader to aid in breaking the cycle of systematic oppression through policy and advocacy.
